Suffern Orthodontist
Many people wish that they had a straighter, and more attractive looking smile. Crooked teeth and other minor alignment concerns can leave anyone feeling self conscious about the way that they look and make them feel embarrassed whenever they speak or smile. But many of those same people do not get braces because they will only feel just as uncomfortable doing the same things but with metal braces. Luckily, there are other options and our
Suffern orthodontist Baruch B, Lifshitz, DDS can offer eligible patients Invisalign if they want to get straighter teeth.
Plenty of people wear metal braces if they want or need orthodontic work done, but some individuals may still feel uncomfortable wearing these devices for extended periods of time. Typically, the people who feel this way are young to older adults who usually tend to associate metal and wire braces with younger kids and teenagers. Thankfully, there are alternative options available when it comes to getting straighter teeth. If you are interested, our
Suffern orthodontist Baruch B. Lifshitz, DDS can provide any patients with a preliminary exam and consultation. During this appointment, Dr. Lifshitz will thoroughly examine your mouth and determine whether Invisalign will work for you. If you are, he can begin planning your treatment immediately. Invisalign works by using virtually invisible aligner trays that are specifically molded to fit over your teeth. There is one aligner for your top row of teeth and another for the bottom. They are designed to fit snugly over your teeth so that they fit, but they will also gently move your teeth into their desired position. In order to facilitate this over time, Dr. Lifshitz will provide you with a new set of aligners about once every two weeks or so.
If you decide to get straighter teeth with Invisalign, no one has to know you are even wearing braces! Invisalign trays can be removed while eating and brushing to make cleaning and maintenance much easier as well. If you want to learn more about Invisalign or wish to schedule an appointment with our
